Tang Kuei and Salvia Formula (Jia Wei Si Wu Tang) is an increase in the classic Formula Decoção das Quatro (Si Wu Tang) or Tang Kuei Quatro used to produce blood. Decotion of the Four Substances is the primary formula for the treatment of chronic blood deficiency. To this important formula we add He Shou Wu for blood enrichment and strengthening of the liver. We also add Saves to increase the ability of the formula to invigorate and move the blood, allowing to cure the stagnation of the blood, often found in chronic blood deficiencies.

Action according to Traditional Chinese Medicine: Tones and moves blood, nourishes the liver.

Radix Rhemanniae Conquitae (Rhemannia Cooked Root / Shu Di Huang ) 25.9%
Radix paeoniae Lactyflorae (Peonia Branca Root / Bai Shao) 18.5%
Radix Polygoni Multiflori ( Fo Ti / He Shou wu ) 18.5%
Radix angelicae sinensis ( Tang Kuei Root / Dang Gui ) 14.5%
Radix Salviae Miltioorrhizae ( Salva Raiz / Dang Shen ) 14.8%
Radix Ligustici Chuanxiong ( Szechuan Lovage Root / Chuan Xiong ) 7.5%

Contraindications:
It is not recommended for severe cases of blood deficiency, with marked weakness, difficulty breathing and occurrence of diarrhea. In cases of Yang deficiency of the spleen with loose stools, add an appropriate formula to tone the spleen, such as Six Gentlemen Formula, Sea of Qi Formula or Ginseng and Astragalus Formula.
