Rehmannia and Scrophilaria Formula is a modification of the formula Anemarrhena, Phellonendron, and Rhemania(Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan) with the addition of Lycium and Scrophularia. Based on the Rhemania Six Formula (Liu Wei Di Huang Wan), a Yin tonic of the Kidneys, this formula is used specifically for Yin deficiency with fire, internal heat or burning in the bones.
