Gastrodia and Uncaria Formula (Tian Ma Gou Teng Yin) is a traditional formula used to drain heat, extinguish the wind and soothe the liver. This formula is indicated for when there is yin deficiency of the liver and inability to restrict yang from the liver, causing symptoms such as spasms, dizziness, headaches, etc. This formula can also be used for patients with hypertension.
