This formula improves the embarrassed qi of the liver at the same time the deficiency of the spleen and stomach. Bupleurum (Chai hu), White Peony (bai Chao), Barley Sprout (mai ya) and Curcuma (Yu Jin) soften the liver and relax the liver's embarrassed qi.
