Bone & Sinew Formula (Zheng Gu Xu Jin Fang) is a combination of Du Huo and Loranthus Formula (Du Huo Ji Sheng Wan) and Decoction for removing Blood Stasis in the channels (Shu Jing Huo Xue Tang) with herbs added to supplement the kidneys, bones and ligaments. It is usual for treatment of the 2nd and 3rd state of trauma when the initial swelling and inflammation have dissipated and what remains is the invasion of wind and humidity. The herbs in this formula focus on moving and supplementing the blood to eliminate stagnation, supplement the kidney to heal bones and ligaments, disperse wind and moisture and expel pain and prevent its return.
